Eric Sloane, N.A., American (1905-1985)

"If asked to name the most valuable endowment that my adventures have taught me so far, I think I might choose the lesson of awareness." - Eric Sloane, Legacy

Welcome to the web site dedicated to the exploration of artist Eric Sloane’s life, work and legacy. Why a long name like ericsloane-awareness.com? Because after many years of research and personal contacts with Eric’s family and friends, I am convinced that as much as he deserves to be remembered and appreciated for his artistic and literary talents, perhaps his most important legacy is his philosophy of awareness.

I invite you to take some time and explore the pages within this site and links to various sites that I believe will help deepen your own sense of awareness of the early American experience. I also invite you to return to the pages within the site frequently, as this web site will be updated often. Please register your name and address to be added to our mailing list (Please type your name and full mailing address in the body of the email message). Enjoy the site and please contact us if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions.
